Awesome bands all seemingly feeding from the same pool of inspiration but all drawing their own conclusions. Bands like The Red Light Sting and Death From Above (1979). My favourite of the bunch by far was definitely The Sick Lipstick. Sure, the singer could be a little grating at times and was a potty mouthed little brat but it suits, and the music still shreds. Literally.<div><br /></div><div>I'm not entirely sure what happened, because the feeling was short lived. DFA79 got huge, and local musicians got themselves an attitude.
